The journey of the bookmobile

Press release

Experience the musical narrative “The Journey” in your local bookmobile!

Tuesday and Wednesday during the winterbreak we invite you to join us in the bookmobiles of Aalborg, not just for a good read, but for a musical experience for the whole family.

Through music and video projections, “The Journey” describes the inner journey that often arises from a physical one. You will be led through all the emotional and mental states of a journey, from the experience of a noisy train station, through the nightly silence at 2 in the morning and the joy of reaching your destination.

Join us for a close encounter with the musicians and the images, and let yourself be embraced by the dreamlike universe of “The Journey”.

The story will be performed by the ensemble Lydenskab, the music has been created by classical composer Morten Ladehoff and rhythmic singer and composer Kristina Holgersen and will be accompanied by videoprojections by Signe Klejs.

The performance is backed by the city of Aalborg and the Obel Family Foundation.

“The Journey” will be performed at the following bus stops: Tuesday 17.2.15 – Hou at 1.45 PM and Ulsted at 3.40 PM, Wednesday 18.2.15 – Langholt at 1.30 PM and Sulsted at 2.45 PM

Free admission
